PBParty 2025 Finalist
My hands are literally shaking while I type this, because I'm so thrilled and still pinching myself whether it's true. I'm gonna say it loud anyways! I AM A PBPARTY 2025 FINALIST!!!! My story #1 YECHU AND THE SACRED FROG made it to 55 finalists out of over 1000 stories entered this year.

PBParty is an annual contest, hosted by the amazing Mindy Alyse Weiss, open for the unagented picture book authors and author/ illustrators. I learnt about PBParty in 2024 from a critique partner. I was just beginning to know picture books and had written my first story. I entered anyways with my story. I learnt so much from the application process itself and active the PBParty community on Facebook. Though I did not get selected that year, I am grateful for what I learnt from it. I actually looked forward to entering again in 2025 and hence I did!
PBParty 2025 would not have been possible without all the hard work of Mindy Alyse Weiss, Ninja Superstar/ Judge Sylvia Chen, ​Brittany Pomales, ​Marietta Apollonio, ​Aixa Perez-Prado and ​Jenna Waldman. Thank you so much dear judges :)

Spring Fling Kidlit 2024 Winner
I came to know about Spring Fling Kidlit contest through my amazing critique partner Laura McIntosh.
The #springflingkidlit contest is organized by literary agent Kaitlyn Leann Sanchez and author Ciara O'Neal. The participants had to choose a spring-themed gif and write a story suitable for kids aged 12 and under. When I saw the word count of 150 words, I was in panic because I always tend to write tons of words. I took up the challenge and participated in the contest. To my biggest surprise, I was one of the 16 winners among the many entries.
